Yoga is a system for achieving both physical and mental harmony. Gain an understanding of ancient texts and learn to use this knowledge to lead practitioners toward their goals of peace and harmony.
In order to guide students safely through a yoga practice, it is important to have a strong foundation of technique. Develop the essential skills required to effectively instruct others in physical poses (asanas), breathing practices (pranayama), mantras and types of meditation.
Each session will provide opportunities to practice what you are learning by observing others, assisting, and practice teaching. At the end of this training, you will be prepared to lead and teach a 75-minute yoga class.

What if I don’t feel confident in my ability to do poses correctly?
We ask that you have been attending group yoga classes for at least 3 months. Our program is designed to teach you proper alignment in yoga poses. No experience in advanced yoga postures is required.
What if I don’t intend to be a yoga instructor?
This program is an opportunity to deepen your knowledge of the history and philosophy of yoga making your experience in group asana practices more meaningful. Many people participate in yoga teacher training as a means of self-discovery and to develop a connection with like-minded yogis.
I have a recent injury/chronic condition or I am pregnant/plan to become pregnant - can I take the training?
You are welcomed to participate in our teacher training. Please consult with your physician before registering for the program.
What is your cancellation/refund policy?
A non-refundable $500 deposit is due upon enrollment to hold your spot in this training. If you cancel 30 days or more before the start of the program you will be reimbursed in full (minus your $500 deposit). If you cancel 29 days before the start of the program, do not attend the program, or do not complete the training program the entire deposit and program tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable.
What if I need to miss some training dates?
In order to meet Yoga Alliance requirements, all scheduled training sessions are mandatory for graduation. We understand that there may be conflicts with the schedule. If a session needs to be missed, meeting time can be scheduled as a 1:1 session with one of our trainers at an additional expense.
